County Public Health recommends following five basic steps to prevent the spread of H1N1 flu:
- Get the H1N1 vaccine when it is available.
- Wash your hands often, or use hand sanitizers if soap and water are not available.
- Stay away from those who are sick.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
- Routinely clean commonly touched surfaces.

Library Volkswalks
A Volkswalk is designed for fun, fitness and family. It is a non-competitive, untimed walk along a pre-marked route. Participants can walk for free if no credit or award is desired, or may pay a registration fee to receive credit. All are welcome.
