The Fallbrook Library opened to the public on January 16, 2011 and has experienced tremendous growth over its first year. The number of books, movies, and music checked out at the Fallbrook Library increased by nearly 22% this past fiscal year. Since the facility opened, library visits nearly doubled to approximately 30,000 visits to the library each month. In addition, the Library received six awards, including both local and national honors, in its first year of operation.
"The Fallbrook Library and its devoted staff help build better lives within the community each and every day by providing essential services," said Library Director José Aponte. "The notable increase in usage speaks volumes regarding the success of the new facility. The library has quickly become the place to be in Fallbrook."
