Ready to take the next step and earn your high school diploma? Library High School offers adults the chance to earn an accredited high school diploma and career certificate online. The program is operated by Smart Horizons Career Online Education, a private online school district.
Library High School is open to San Diego County residents who are 19 and older thanks to funding from SDCL and the California State Library. Eligible students receive a scholarship to participate in the program and can earn their diploma within 18 months.
Over 80 students across San Diego County are currently enrolled in Library High School. Since the program started in 2016, 91 adults in San Diego County have earned a high school diploma through San Diego County Library. Thanks to their own hard work and determination, these graduates now have access to greater career and educational opportunities.
