San Diego County Library is bringing the library to where you need it. Our five MySDCL Kiosks provide self-service access to library materials 24/7. It's all free of charge with your library card.

Where are the kiosks located?
The kiosks are located in Bonsall, Boulevard, Encinitas, the County Operations Center, and the South Region.

What do I need to use a kiosk?
Customers simply need a San Diego County Library card and to make sure their account is in good standing (fees below $20).
You can sign up for a card at any County Library branch.

What are the features of the kiosks?
The kiosks allow customers to check out and return materials, place holds, download audio and eBooks, browse the catalog, and tap into a Wi-Fi hotspot.

How long can I check items out for and what happens if I return them late?
Items in the kiosk include new and popular books and DVDs. Most books can be checked out for 21 days, and most DVDs can be checked out for 10 days. All eligible items are automatically renewed two days before their due date. You may also renew materials online at sdcl.org or by calling our 24 hour renewal line (858) 514-4765.
